About us
Star dance is a Dance studio registered 23. of May 2002. in Ministry of Education and Sports. We base our activities in popularization dance. We are located in Home of deaf and near deaf peoplewith over 300 square meters of professional equipped space (two dance halls with mirrors, sound system, offices...).
Team: Studio leads a young group of people with Ratko Milikić and Predrag Katanić in front. Young team which is working with children counts four choreographs, four instructors and two assistants. Studio is being helped by an organizationteam bringing youth and experience in action. Total of twelve people are running business in the Studio, trough different objects ofbusiness... Experts within the team are often attendees of seminars, perfecting their programs and work with children.
Membership: in this moment we have assembled very large group of young people. Star Dance in its rows has eleven competitionssections of different selections, ages. Starting from bees (up to seven years of age) and coming to semi professional selections forshows - Top Team (over twenty years of age), as also a Break dance group "Satisfaction". Studio from the day when is founded is"IN" at most young people and its very popular, as within the city county and further than that...
Program: We base our work in two popular styles: Disco dance and Hip hop. Main thing in working with young people represents aresponsibility for education of this population, as also their professional development. This is done by a team of people that is willing and able to passon all actual knowledge about the dance. Important innovation in our studio is cooperation with ballet studio of Cultural Dome, where with pride we announce that the ballet movement will be more than a part of our further work.
Contents and appearances: In it's first official season, Star dance studio has debuted unexpectedly successful, by wining seventitles of State Champions! Next season we only confirmed the quality of our Studio. As by this moment Star dance is owner over forty national titles, in different ages and categories... Also very noticeably on various televisions, were our dancers made beautiful scenery asdance partners of popular singers (Zdravko Čolić, Slađana Delibašić, Nataša Bekvalac, Bojan Marović, Viki Miljković...) on RTV PINK,and on PTC and BK television, trough a show "Idol". We would like to address you're special attention on two Show programs which we puton by our self's, ha have both directed it and produced it twice Big scene of Doma Kulture in Čačak, and second time was on the StateChampionship in Modern Dances, which we had successfully organized in May 2005., gathered more than 1.000 contestants from 20 city's... Las bigenterprise of our Studio was made with FSSCG (Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro), were our girls promoted fan slogan action "Plavi Plavi"in 16 city's over Serbia, and all has triumphal finish by achievement of our national football squad on FIFA World Cup 2006 Germany, and by concert onRepublic Square with live broadcast on RTV PINK. Its common for us to promote all sorts of fashion brands, and concerning their major popularity they representa big factor for rating of the Studio. Some of brands we had promoted are "Nike", "Diesel", "Benetton", "Tiffany production","PS Fashion", etc.
Problems: Problems which is our Studio faced are, mostly financial kind. Often Star Dance Studio is forced to quit foreign competitions, and considering that we have overcome national barriers of competitions, we are in very unfavorable situation.
Cooperation: As Studio we make tight cooperation with all dance organizations, as in our country, as abroad. We have expanded our work on areas of Belgrade, Gornji Milanovac, as also on Lučani and Požega. We have developed very quality cooperation with all Elementary Schoolsin city, in which entertainment programes we participate, and often entirely organize. Then, with High School home for pupils, but with many health centers,which fight against all kind of illness we support by our example of healthier life for young...
